Independent gaming journalism from the heart of Australia.
FrameStorms was founded in 2019 by a group of Sydney-based gamers who were tired of reading reviews written by journalists who hadn't actually finished the games they were covering. We set out to build something different — a platform where every score is earned through genuine play time and honest critique.
Based at Level 12, 680 George Street, Sydney NSW 2000, our small but dedicated team covers everything from indie gems to AAA blockbusters, with a particular focus on how titles perform for Australian players — including server quality, regional content, and community size.
Over the years, we've grown from a passion project into one of Australia's most-read independent gaming publications, with over 80,000 monthly readers and a thriving Discord community of 15,000 members.
Our editorial values guide every piece of content we publish.
We never accept compensation in exchange for positive reviews. Our scores reflect genuine opinions, not publisher relationships.
Every game is completed before review. We don't publish scores based on press demos or early access previews.
We test on Australian servers, note regional content differences, and highlight local community features.
Our readers shape our coverage. We actively listen to community feedback and prioritise the titles you care about.
